CONTENTS

1. Registration Conditions

After completing the registration form and making the payment, your name will appear on the participant list. If you enter any incorrect information, you can have it corrected by sending an e-mail until June 23. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

The last registration date is Tuesday, June 23. No registration will be accepted after this date or at the event venue. Registration may close earlier if the quota is full.

Registration Fee
January 10 – January 31: Meis-Kaş Swimming Marathon €200, Mid Line €70, Beach Swim Hurrah €25EU

February 1 – May 31: Meis-Kaş Swimming Marathon €250, Mid Line €90, Beach Swim Hurrah €30EU
Jun 1 – June 23: Meis-Kaş Swimming Marathon €270, Mid Line €110, Beach Swim Hurrah €40

IMPORTANT: If participants cannot attend the events for any reason (work, health, etc.), no refunds will be made. Registration fees cannot be transferred to another event or person.

Athlete Kit: All participants will be given a swimming chip, a souvenir t-shirt, a towel, and a swimming cap. The kits will be given to each participant upon presentation of their ID and signature. Kits that are not received on time will not be given and no rights can be claimed.

7 km Meis Kaş Swimming Marathon
Swimmers with long-distance swimming experience in open waters can participate. The time limit for completing the 7 km long course starting from Megisti Island in Greece and ending on the Kaş coast of Turkey is 4 hours. Swimmers who will register for this course must have a passport with a valid visa. The use of inflatable swimming buoys is mandatory on the marathon course. The use of wetsuits is prohibited. Important issues regarding passport tracking and transition to Mais Island will be communicated to registered swimmers who will participate in the Swimming Marathon later.

3.5 km Mid Line
A half-distance course designed to include swimmers who have not completed their passport/visa requirements or do not feel ready for the marathon distance but want to try this course. The marathon course will start from the checkpoint boat that will wait at the midpoint and end at Kaş Mumi Beach. Finishing time limit of 120 minutes. The use of inflatable swimming buoys is mandatory. The use of wetsuits is prohibited.

1 km Beach Swim Hurrah
A course for those who say they are not ready for the marathon but want to share the excitement. It starts and ends at Kaş Mumi Beach. The 1000-meter distance must be swam in 30 minutes.

Kids Splash
There will also be a 100-meter entertainment course for children aged 8-12. The quota for this course is limited to 50 children. Registration will be free of charge at the event venue on race day, between 11:30-12:00. All children who finish will receive a commemorative medal.

2. Category and Awards

Categories

In addition to the general classification in the 7 km and 3.5 km courses, 4 different age groups are made based on the year of birth; 25-34 years old / 35-44 years old / 45-54 years old / 55+ years old
There is no age group in the 1 km course.

Awards
All participants are given a bag, t-shirt, bonnet and towel.
Marathon participants are also given a sweat t-shirt.
All swimmers who complete the course within the time limit are given a commemorative medal.
In the 1 km course, the first three places in the general classification are given a cup, no age group ranking is made.
In the 7 km "Marathon" course, the first three places in the general classification are given a cup, and the first three places in the age group are given a shield.
In the 3.5 km "Mid Line" course, the first three places in the general classification are given a cup, and the first three places in the age group are given a shield.

3. Rules and Reminders

* Registrations that are approved by filling out the registration form and paying the fee will be published in the “participants” list. If there will be any changes to your information on the list, please send an e-mail.
* All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
* You must have your ID with you. Kit delivery and age classification will be done accordingly.
* Since this will be a special event, there is no need for a health report or license. A wet-signed waiver form stating that the participants' health conditions are suitable for this type of event and that they assume all risks will be collected at the registration desk during kit distribution.
* Swimmers who will register for the 7 km Marathon course must have a passport with a valid visa. Important issues regarding passport tracking and crossing to Mais Island will be communicated to registered swimmers later.
* Going outside the determined course and exceeding the time limit are grounds for disqualification. There will be directional signs and referee checkpoints on the course and video recording.
* It is mandatory to use inflatable swimming buoys on the 7 km and 3.5 km courses. Wetsuit use is prohibited.
* Liquid and food support will be provided at the 3.5 km point. Holding on to the boat is allowed, but it is not possible to climb on it.
* The feeding point will also be the time control point. For swimmers who cannot pass this point in 2 hours (if they have stopped for feeding, the point must be left within this period), the course will be closed and the swimmers will be withdrawn from the course and taken to the boat due to the time being exceeded. The total completion time of the course is 4 hours. Swimmers who cannot complete the course within this time will not be able to enter the ranking due to the time being exceeded.
* It is the participants' own responsibility to comply with general marine traffic, property and safety rules. The participant himself/herself is the addressee of any legal issues that may arise from violations of the rules, and the organization cannot be held responsible.
* You cannot throw/leave your garbage or any material that you feel is excessive in the environment during the event. This behavior is a reason for disqualification. Garbage should be delivered to the accompanying boats.
* You can put your spare clothes in the numbered bags given to you before the start and give them to the accompanying boats.
* Swimmers who are taken on the boat with their own consent or by the referee's decision are out of the competition and cannot enter the course again.
* All awards will be given in order at the ceremony, there will be no special application for those who want to leave early. Participants who cannot attend the ceremony should leave a companion in their place. Awards will not be delivered later. We kindly request that you participate in the organization as a whole in order to honor the award recipients and supporters.

* The organization has the right to change its pricing policy and make promotions. These changes do not include those who registered at previous prices and do not create a refund or change.
* There may be changes in the course and program due to any force majeure. Participants are obliged to comply with the new regulation and cannot make claims or demands to the contrary.
* You can make your objection by applying to the event directorate with a 1000 TL objection fee and a petition within 15 minutes after the intermediate results are published. Any objections made later are invalid. If the objection is accepted, the objection fee will be refunded and the results will be revised by making the necessary corrections. If the objection is deemed invalid, the paid objection fee will not be refunded.
* All participants are deemed to have read and are aware of these rules and are considered to have registered.
